Doctors

Dr Terry Conaty (m)
MBChB 1978 (Leeds) MRCGP Dr Conaty established the practice in a portakabin in 1987. He provides a full range of medical services and spends one day a week organising the further training and development of young doctors.

Dr Michael Bosch (m)
MBBS equiv. 1994 (Berlin) MRCGP DRCOG MSc
Dr Bosch was a trainee at the practice and he became a partner in 2002. He runs the Child Development Clinic .

Dr Martin Mueller (m)
MBBS equiv. 1991 (Munster) DCH DRCOG MRCGP DFFP Dip IMC
Dr Mueller has been with us since December 2003. In addition to working as a GP he is heavily involved with training undergraduate medical students.

Dr Heidi Fahy (f)
Dr Fahy has recently joined the practice team, but she is an experienced GP and has worked at other local surgeries. She helped us out by doing a few locum sessions earlier in the year and proved extremely popular with the patients she saw. She has a particular interest in women's health and her skills mean we will be able to expand the range of contraceptive services we offer. These will now include coil fitting and hormone implants and you are welcome to make an appointment with Dr Fahy, or with one of of our practice nurses, to discuss your options.

Dr Mike Robinson (m)
MBBS 1975 (London)
Dr Robinson works here one afternoon a week. He is also Medical Director for InPractice Systems (who supply our clinical system).

Dr Vesna Gjorgjievska-Marsh (f)

Dr Charlotte Ridout (f)

Dr Ridout is Dr Conaty's GP Registrar. She is nearing the end of her GP training and has already been with us some time, so many patients will already know her.

Dr Melissa Sanders (f)
Dr Sanders is Dr Fahy's GP Registrar and will be with us until August 2013.

Dr Jyothsna Kandi (f)
Dr Kandi is Dr Diack's GP Registrar and will be with us until August 2013.

Nurses

Our highly qualified nurses deal with a range of conditions and health concerns. The range of services they provide is listed later in this booklet, but they each have their own special interests and areas of expertise.

Scilla Wallis
RGN RSCN NARTC Asthma Diploma ENB901
Scilla has considerable experience in the management of asthma, other chronic respiratory diseases and also in diabetes. She is an Independent Prescriber.

Mrs Xenith Jones
Xenith is an experienced practice nurse and will be starting at Smallfield Surgery in late August

Healthcare Assistants

Cony Pepper
Health Care Assistant Cony is our phlebotomist.

Debbie Kenward
Debbie carries out phlebtomy, ECGs, ABPM fitting and a number of other nursing tasks

Valerie Smith
Val carries out phlebotomy and is now responsible for the anticoagulant clinic

Administration

Ann Anderson
Practice Administrator. Ann looks after all the administration that keeps the practice going which keeps her extremely busy,

Tracey Merritt

Patient Services Administrator. Tracey manages reception and has a lot of contact with patients.

Valerie Smith
Finance Administrator. Val is also responsible for the practice finances.

Data Quality Administrator

Debbie Kenward

Secretary and Assistant Administrator. Debbie processes all the referrals, liaises with hospitals and is also responsible for recalling patients for their routine checks.

Reception

The reception staff answer the phone, deal with enquiries and take repeat prescription requests. Their job is very demanding so please be patient at busy times. They also undertake a huge amount of work behind the scenes to ensure the practice runs smoothly.

Patient Survey and Action Plan

Our patient survey is now complete and you can look at the results by clicking on the link below. Electronic Prescription Service

You can now have your prescriptions sent electronically to your preferred pharmacy. All you have to do is nominate your pharmacy of choice with reception.

Online Services

Did you know you can book appointments request repeat prescriptions online?. To make use of these services you first need to reigster with us for Vision Online Services (VOS). You can pick up the necessary form in the surgery, or via this link VOS registration form

The completed form needs to be returned to the surgery.

Patient Group

We now have a Patient Reference Group to enable us to obtain views from a sample of our patients about current and future services. If you would like to join this group, which will involve giving us you email address, or another form of contact, and some other details, please click the appropriate option in the list below.
