Extended Hours Surgeries

From July 2011 we are offering appointments with doctors and a nurse between 6.30 and 7.30pm every Monday. Please ask for one of these appointments if the timing would suit you. They need to be booked during normal opening hours and you will be given instructions as to what to do when you arrive at the surgery.

When We Are Closed

outofhours Surrey Primary Care Trust arrange for medical cover when our practice is closed. This service is currently provided by Thamesdoc and their telephone number is 0208 390 9992. We suggest you call the surgery in the first instance on 01342 843822 as you will then get the most up-to-date information on what to do.

The practice now holds some surgeries outside normal working hours. These are purely for pre-booked appointments and the receptionist will not be able to deal with anything other than the current surgery.

NHS Direct

In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS Direct (0845 4647) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.

Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.

Electronic Prescription Service

You can now have your prescriptions sent electronically to your preferred pharmacy. All you have to do is nominate your pharmacy of choice with reception.

Online Services

Did you know you can book appointments request repeat prescriptions online?. To make use of these services you first need to reigster with us for Vision Online Services (VOS). You can pick up the necessary form in the surgery, or via this link VOS registration form

The completed form needs to be returned to the surgery.

Patient Group

We now have a Patient Reference Group to enable us to obtain views from a sample of our patients about current and future services. If you would like to join this group, which will involve giving us you email address, or another form of contact, and some other details, please click the appropriate option in the list below.
